We are looking at a new website design.  You can get a preview by looking at http://desertrats.am/newsite and let us know what you think of the new design and if you would like to see any specific type of content. We are looking to streamline the design and what we offer and put all relavent information in the same place on the site for example all links to other HAM Radio related site will be on the same web page etc.

Upcoming events

Tuesday Sept 16 is our first club meeting of the season.  Hope to see everyone there.  Details of the speaker will be in the Newsletter.

The October 21 meeting will be on NBEMS.  How to use your HT and a laptop computer to send text files to someone during an emergency.  More Details in the Newsletter.

We encourage everyone to listen to the National Traffic System NETS.  They are held every Tuesday and Thursday at 8:30 PM on the PAPA Repeater system.  Repeater is 445.640 Neg offset PL 107.2  If you have D-Star the repeater is 447.140.  We will be having a presentation latter in the season on NTS.
